• How many content items can I store?
  This depends on your chosen version. We have customers with 5 items, and customers with 10.000 on large portals.
• Can I sell my tickets with STARtxt?
  Yes! We have a special module for ticket sales, which is highly customizable, and can easily be added to your existing STARtxt account. This provides mobile ticketing, mobile coupons, SMS payment, viral marketing and more. Contact us for details.
• What types of content can I use with STARtxt?
  The software supports downloads such as MP3 as well as "over the air" content such as truetones and wallpapers for mobile phones. As matter of fact, we haven't come across digital content types we do not support!
• Which ringtone formats do you support?
  

  For truetones: MP3, SMAF, WAV

  For polytones: MIDI-SP (multiple formats), SMAF

  For monotones: Nokia

• Which music download fomats do you support?
  MP3 in multiple bitrates, WMA, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC.
• Which mobile video formats do you support?
  3GP,3GPP, MP4
• Do you support live streaming to mobile phones?
  Sorry not at this time - very very few mobile handsets actually support streaming off-deck currently, and the data charges are prohibitive for most users.
• Can I run a subscription service using STARtxt?
  

  Yes there are a number of options (PRO version required).

  These include regular scheduled updates by SMS (for example news alerts), ringtone clubs (1 tone per week etc) and more.

  You can charge recipients by premium SMS (i.e. via their phone bill) to receive the updates, for example a weekly update that is charged once per month. The subscription content can be automatically loaded (RSS, XML), pre0loaded (Excel, CSV files) or simply pre-entered in the account panel.
