• Can I sell my content through other services?
  

  Yes. STARtxt is a software solution, not a retailer or distributor. We take no ownership in your content, and actually encourage you to find additional routes to market where approriate.

  When you sell via STARtxt, you sell DIRECT to your audience, reaping a much higher return, full control and ownership over your customers and content.

• Can I offer free downloads and tones?
  Yes, simply set the price for any content item to 0, and STARtxt will do the rest.
• How much can I charge for my content?
  

  You have the full range of approved price points available, from free to the maximum allowed in your chosen market/country, dependent on carrier / mobile operator rules. For example in the K this range from free, 25p, £1, £1.50, £3, £5, and any combination of these, with the maximum being £5.

  When using PayPal Mobile for payment in your mobile store, you have additional flexibility.

• Do you handle my music/media rights?
  

  STARtxt is software as a service, and we do not license, take licenses or provide any content rights or take on any responsibility for such content rights, be they downloads, ringtones, user generated content or other.

  You can only use STARtxt if you own and control your uploaded content, or if you have secured the required licenses to promote and sell such content. If in doubt check with a lawyer.

• How do I get paid for my content sales?
  We will pay out revenues due from all content sales to your chosen PayPal account. If you do not have one yet, it's easy and free to set up. From that account you can then transfer your money to bank or credit card accounts as required.
• How much will I receive from each content sale?
  

  We pay out as much as we get back ourselves, depending on mobile operators/carriers, credit card gateway and PayPal.

  We are confident our payouts exceed anything else out there. For details please check the website under "Payouts", listed by market. It is also worth noting that STARtxt supports a huge range of portable devices and handsets, making sure you can actually offer your digital content to the widest possible audience, for more sales.

• Can I use text-to-buy (SMS-to-buy)?
  Yes, in UK, US, Australia. Each content item in your STARtxt account is assigned a unique keyword. Any customer sending in a text/SMS message with that keyword to your assigned shortcode number will receive he content and be billed to their mobile phone bill. This enables you to promote your content everywhere, on flyers, CD inserts, posters, tickets and of course the web.
• Can I create content bundles?

• Which markets can I sell my content to?
  

  For mobile content, almost any global market that supports the GSM network, see the Global Reach List for details. Always subject to the network and handset being supported.

  For downloads, any global market that is available for payment by credit card and/or PayPal - no limits.
